NEMT broker integrations: trips on your board, without the re-keying

Does Duet work with your broker? Very likely. Duet integrates with Modivcare, MTM, Kinetik, MediDrive, and CTC, and supports trip file import for SafeRide, Alivi, Verida, WellTrans, and others. Either way, broker trips land on the same calendar as the rest of your trips — dispatched, driven, and billed with nothing re-typed.

The nightly re-typing is the part that has to go

Broker trips are good business: steady, predictable volume from partners who need dependable providers. The problem was never the brokers. It's what happens after the manifest arrives — someone at your operation re-typing every trip into your dispatch system by hand, night after night, before tomorrow can even be scheduled.

That re-keying costs you twice. First in hours: a full manifest is an evening of data entry that your dispatcher — or you — could spend on anything else. Then in typos: every re-typed pickup time and address is a chance to get it wrong, and behind every row is a real rider waiting at a real door.

It also traps providers in software they've outgrown. If moving platforms means figuring out broker trips all over again, staying put feels safer. It shouldn't work that way, and with Duet it doesn't: switching software doesn't mean losing your broker volume. Your broker relationships are yours. Duet just gives the trips two clean ways in.

Direct broker integrations: trips flow onto your board

Duet integrates directly with Modivcare, MTM, Kinetik, MediDrive, and CTC. An NEMT broker integration means the broker's trips flow onto your Duet dispatch board and land on the same calendar as the rest of your trips — no manifest to download, no rows to re-type, no second system to check before you schedule the day.

Run for one of these brokers — or a few of them at once? Their trips show up next to everything else you run, and your dispatcher works one board.

NEMT trip file import: the lane for many more brokers

For SafeRide, Alivi, Verida, WellTrans, and others, Duet supports trip file import. Export the trip file from your broker's portal, import it into Duet, and the trips land on your board in bulk. If your broker's portal has an export button, ask us — the import lane reaches well past the named list.

1

Export the trip file

Pull the trip file from your broker's portal, the same way you already do today.

2

Import it into Duet

Bring the file in and Duet turns the rows into trips — in bulk, not one at a time.

3

Dispatch as usual

The trips land on your calendar next to everything else, ready to assign to vehicles and drivers.

The same door is open for spreadsheets of any origin. Duet's plain bulk trip upload takes a spreadsheet of trips — a facility's list, an export from your old software, a sheet you built yourself — and puts the whole thing on your board at once.

After the trips land, they're just trips

Once a broker trip is in Duet, it behaves like every other trip in the system. It sits on the same dispatch board, gets assigned the same way, runs through the same driver app, and carries its data straight into billing — one trip record from booking to invoice, never re-entered between systems.

One board for every trip

Broker trips sit on the same calendar as your private-pay and facility trips. Your dispatcher sees one screen and assigns every trip the same way.

Drivers just drive

The assignment hits the driver app like any other trip: the day's schedule, navigation to the pickup, clock-in and clock-out. Nobody sorts trips by where they came from.

Billing-ready trip data

Every broker trip carries its details from board to bill: your rates for that contract, and invoices and reports shaped to the payer expecting them.

The deep dives live on their own pages: how the dispatch board works, what drivers see in the driver app, and how trip data becomes invoices and payer-shaped reports.

Broker volume and private-pay, side by side

Duet runs broker trips and private-pay trips in one system, with rates set per contract so each trip bills the way its payer expects. Many providers build the business exactly that way: broker volume as the dependable base that keeps the vans moving, and higher-margin private-pay work growing on top of it.

Both sides get the same treatment on the board, so adding one never means running two systems. And when you're ready to grow the private-pay side on purpose, the same team behind the software offers growth services that fill the schedule the software runs.

What does broker integration cost?

Nothing extra. Broker integrations and trip file import are part of Duet's software, not a paid module. The software is free for providers running fewer than 100 trips a month and usage-based above that — most providers pay less than $50 per active vehicle per month, with no per-vehicle license fee, no setup fee, and month-to-month billing.

And Duet never takes a cut of your trip revenue. What your brokers pay you for the trips is yours — the software fee is the whole bill.

Broker integration questions, answered

Does Duet work with my broker?

Very likely. Duet integrates with Modivcare, MTM, Kinetik, MediDrive, and CTC, and supports trip file import for SafeRide, Alivi, Verida, WellTrans, and others. Between the direct integrations and file import, most broker mixes are covered. If you don't see yours, ask us about your broker.

What if my broker isn't listed?

Trip file import covers many of them. If your broker's portal can export a trip file, an unlisted broker usually just means the import lane instead of a direct integration. Ask us about your broker — we'll give you a straight answer.

Do broker trips land on the same board as my other trips?

Yes. Broker trips land on the same calendar as the rest of your trips. Your dispatcher works one board — broker, private-pay, and facility trips side by side — instead of juggling a portal here and a spreadsheet there.

Do drivers see broker trips in the driver app?

Yes. Once a broker trip is on the board, it's a Duet trip like any other. The driver sees it in the app with the rest of the day's trips, navigates to the pickup, and updates status as the trip runs.

Can I import a spreadsheet of trips?

Yes. Duet supports plain bulk trip upload, so a spreadsheet of trips from any origin — a broker portal export, a facility's list, your old software — comes in all at once instead of row by row.

Can I run broker and private-pay trips in the same system?

Yes. Duet runs broker, private-pay, and facility-billed trips side by side, with rates set per contract so each trip bills the way that payer expects. Many providers keep broker volume as the steady base and grow higher-margin private-pay on top of it.

Does Duet take a cut of broker trips?

Never. Duet doesn't take a cut of any trip revenue — broker, private-pay, or facility-billed. What a broker pays you for a trip stays yours. The software is priced on usage, and most providers pay less than $50 per active vehicle per month.

How does setup work?

It's part of regular Duet onboarding, and we do it with you. We set up your broker trip flow together, and live team training and data migration from your old software are both included free. Most teams learn the whole platform in a single session.
