We took the other road
Jing leads the team that builds Duet, and every week she takes a dispatch shift for one of our customers. Real phones, real riders, real 4:45pm schedule collapse. When something's clumsy, she feels it before you do, and it gets fixed because it annoyed her first.
James spends his days talking with NEMT owners: demos, growth audits, our podcast. A few hundred conversations a year, and the same stories keep coming up. The owner who sat in a parking garage because the phone wouldn't stop ringing. The founder who started her company after watching a neighbor get stranded at dialysis. People who got into this work to take care of their community, then found themselves buried in everything but the driving.

Why we're here
Duet started with Jing's mom. She used medical transport to get to her appointments, until a driver showed up an hour late and she missed a cardiology appointment that had taken six months to book. Jing went looking for answers and found the provider running every trip on paper and a clipboard. After twenty years on the product side of healthcare and tech, she knew the industry deserved better tools, so she started building them.
James got here through his grandmothers. Both rode NEMT, with opposite experiences. One kept getting late drivers and missed appointments. The other had a driver who was always on time and got her talking, and the ride was the highlight of her day. Same industry, opposite outcomes, and he wanted to know why.
They'd each hit the same problem on their own, before they ever worked together. James left healthcare consulting to join Jing, and closing that gap is still the job.

James left healthcare consulting to join Jing. He runs growth: demos, partnerships, and the services Duet runs for providers. He hosts the NEMT Growth podcast, led the growth panel at NEMTAC 2025, and usually picks up when you call the sales line.

NEMT dispatching software
Every trip, driver, and vehicle on one live dispatch board, with a driver app, facility portal, rider tracking links, broker integrations, billing, and a 24/7 AI phone agent included. Free under 100 trips a month. Above that, most providers pay less than $50 per active vehicle per month.
Websites & on-page SEO
Fast, custom-coded NEMT websites, new or rebuilt, built to turn visitors into booked trips. $400 for one page or $650 for five, one-time. The provider owns the site.
Off-page listings & reviews
Duet sets up and maintains a provider's listings on Google Maps, Apple Maps, Bing, Yelp, and the listing sites case managers use, all on sites other than the provider's website. $400 a month, no setup fee, three months to start, then month-to-month.
Google Ads
Duet builds and runs the Google Ads that bring private-pay riders to a provider. From $200 a month plus ad budget. The $400 setup fee is waived for software customers. Providers have made as high as $4 back per $1 spent.
Facility outreach
Duet's callers phone hospitals, rehabs, and skilled nursing facilities and book meetings with the people who assign rides. $2,000 a month, or $1,600 with Duet software. 8 decision-maker meetings in the first month, or Duet keeps working free until you have them.
Remote dispatching
Dedicated, NEMT-trained Duet dispatchers run a provider's trips, drivers, and phones inside the provider's own account, with backup agents so coverage never lapses. In-person dispatching typically costs 2 to 5 times more. Priced by scope.

You pay for trips, not parked vans
Duet is free under 100 trips a month, then usage-based. Most providers pay less than $50 per active vehicle per month, and a parked van costs zero. Bambi charges a flat $69 per vehicle, rolling or not. RouteGenie's Growth plan starts at $50 per vehicle before add-ons.
Month-to-month, no setup fees, never a cut of your trips
No contract, no setup fee, no cancellation fee, and never a cut of your trips. Migration and live training are included. RouteGenie prices broker integrations, auto-dispatching, and communication suites as separate add-ons on its Growth plan. MediRoutes charges a $150 to $250 monthly base fee before your first trip.
Your growth is the product
We never wanted to hand you a login and disappear. Duet runs websites & on-page SEO, off-page listings & reviews, Google Ads, facility outreach, and remote dispatching for providers. None of Bambi, RouteGenie, MediRoutes, or CTS TripMaster offered growth services as of August 2026.
Growing shouldn't require becoming a tech person
If your team can't learn it in one session, that's our failure, not yours. Most operations run Duet within a day. Switchers are set up in about a week. Operators who came from RouteGenie describe weekly training classes and paid onboarding.
The phone matters
A missed call is a missed rider who needed you. Duet's AI phone agent answers 24/7, books the trip, texts the rider a confirmation, and makes reminder calls. It's included. Bambi and RouteGenie listed no voice AI as of August 2026, and CTS TripMaster's is a quote-priced module. When you call Duet, a person picks up.

Onboarding

Billing
Software bills monthly, after the fact, on the trips you ran. Services bill monthly and can be added or dropped on their own. Everything is month-to-month with no cancellation fee, except a three-month start on off-page listings & reviews and annual website hosting.
