How software pricing works
Your trips set your bill
Duet meters on the estimated drive time of the trips you run each month. Busy month, slightly bigger bill. Slow month, smaller one.
Parked vehicles cost nothing
There's no per-vehicle license fee. A van in the shop, or parked between contracts, costs you exactly zero.
You pay after, not before
Billing runs monthly, after the month you've had. You never prepay for software you might not use.
What providers actually pay
Most providers land under $50 per active vehicle per month. A five-van fleet with every van active typically pays less than $250 a month, and less than that in a slow month. Every feature is included at every size: dispatching, scheduling, billing, the driver app, rider tracking links, the facility portal, and the AI phone agent that answers your calls.

Under 100 trips a month, the software is completely free. No credit card, no trial clock, nothing feature-locked. Once you grow past 100 trips, usage pricing kicks in. We built it this way so new providers can run on real software from their very first trip.

How is the Duet software fee calculated?
Your monthly fee is based on the estimated drive time of the trips you actually run, so it scales with your business automatically. Most providers pay less than $50 per active vehicle per month. Slow months cost less, parked vehicles cost nothing, and billing happens monthly after the fact.
Do I pay for empty return miles or extra logins?
No to both. The meter runs on loaded trip time only, the time a rider is actually in the vehicle, so deadhead and empty return miles never touch your bill. And logins are unlimited and free: every dispatcher, driver, and office person can have their own.
Is Duet really free for small providers?
Yes. The software is completely free while you're doing fewer than 100 trips a month. No credit card, no trial clock, and nothing is feature-locked. Once you grow past 100 trips a month, usage pricing kicks in.
Do you take a cut of my trip revenue?
No, never. Your riders, brokers, and facilities pay you directly, and every dollar is yours. Duet's software fee is never a percentage of your trips.
Is Duet a broker?
No. Duet doesn't supply trips or take a cut of them. We're the software your NEMT runs on, plus the growth services that win you more trips. Your trips come from your broker contracts, facility relationships, and private-pay riders, and those payers pay you directly.
Is the AI phone agent included in the price?
Yes. The voice AI agent that answers calls, books trips, and makes reminder calls is part of the software at no extra cost. So is live training for your whole team, and so is data migration from your old software.
Are there contracts or setup fees?
The software has no setup fee, and everything is month-to-month with no cancellation fee. The only setup fee anywhere at Duet is the $400 Google Ads setup, and even that is waived for software customers.
What do the growth services cost?
Search ads management starts at $200/month plus your ad budget. Facility outreach is $2,000/month, or $1,600/month with Duet software, with 12 decision-maker meetings guaranteed in your first month. New websites are $400 for a one-page site or $650 for five pages, one-time, and refreshes of existing sites are quoted per scope. Remote dispatching is quoted by scope. Every service is optional.
